Stanley's Fish Hook

Stanley came in last week having swallowed a fishing line, with the hook and bait attached!  He was anaesthetised so that the hook could be carefully removed from the entrance of his stomach, using an endoscope.  Having stayed at the hospital overnight so that he could be closely observed, he went home the next day and is recovering well.
